We would like to remind you that the speed restrictions on your e-bike are in place as a result of government regulations. These regulations are designed to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road. If the speed of the bike is unlocked this makes the bike ILLEGAL to ride on the roads and should only be used on private property.
By using the provided passcode to unlock your e-bike's speed, you acknowledge and accept the responsibility of complying with government regulations. Please exercise caution, respect the law, and prioritize safety at all times. Remember, these regulations are in place to protect you and those around you. Ride smart, ride safe.
Official Rover Gen 3.1 Speed Setting Adjustment Instructions (250W)
Please follow these official instructions to change the speed setting on your e-bike. It is important to note that this procedure should be performed with care and only in compliance with local regulations.
Step 1: Access Speed Setting Mode
- Ensure your e-bike is powered on and operational.
- Navigate to the setting that displays the current speed limit, which is often preset to 25 km/h.
Step 2: Enter Settings Menu
- To enter the adjustment mode, hold down the "SET" button on the control panel. Press set twice to reach settings 2 for speed limit
Step 3: Password Entry
- Simultaneously hold the "+ (plus)" and "– (minus)" buttons to enter the speed unlock mode.
- A prompt will appear, requesting a password to access the speed adjustment feature. Enter the provided password when prompted. Use the "+ (plus)" and "– (minus)" buttons to change the number and "SET" to move to the next digit.
- Hold "SET" to save
Step 4: Adjust Speed Limit
- Once the password is successfully entered, you will be granted access to change the speed limit setting.
- Adjust the speed limit to your desired value, keeping in mind local regulations and safety considerations.
Step 5: Confirm Changes
- After adjusting the speed limit, confirm your changes by holding down the "SET" button on the control panel.
Step 6: Test and Verify
- After confirming the changes, take a short test ride to ensure that the new speed setting is functioning correctly.
