Installation: Multi-cable + Throttle

Tools needed: Allen keys - 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, cable cutter (for zip ties, if needed), 10mm wrench

First remove the battery

unplug the multi cable front end following the splitter. Unwrap any cable management coils

 

-Undo the 5 nuts located underneath the seat using a 10mm spanner or socket.

-You will now see the controller. (Grey box with cables)

-Undo the zip tie and remove all cable connections.

-Follow the multi-cable to the controller and disconnect (thicker black plug with 9-11 pins inside)
-Remove multi-cable and install new one into frame - if you have a wire to tape to cable it can help with threading back through the frame.

-Zip tie down the controller (same way was previously mounted).

-Place seat back on bike. Remember to include the washers.
-Remove grip and throttle (3mm allen) careful with bolt heads
-Install new throttle and grip, test for positioning
-Plug everything back in, care for pins - use arrows and notch
-Test
-Wrap cable management and any zip ties as needed
