DiroDi Primo Gen 2 and DiroDi xTreme Gen 3 Assembly Manual
CHAPTER 1: OVERVIEW
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE BATTERY
Battery needs to be charged for 8 hours before the first time use. Therefore, once the bike is unpacked and the protective materials are removed, please remove the battery from the bike and charge it using the original charger that comes with the bike.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE ASSEMBLY
The assembly needs to be done exactly as per the instructions given. Please do not skip the instructions and read all the assembly steps carefully, even if you have a very good technical background. If a step is skipped or done wrong, it could damage the bike or compromise the ride's safety.
TOOLS REQUIRED
All tools required for the assembly comes with the bike. In addition to the tools provided you will need scissors and plyers to finish the assembly.
CHAPTER 2: OPENING THE BOX
STEP 1
Cut the plastic straps off the box.
STEP 2
Open the carton flaps and take care so that the staples do not cut you. Remove the protective foams, the front carrier and the small accessories box.
STEP 3
Lay the carton on the floor and then pull the bike out of the carton (Preferably with someone’s help).
It is better to put a mat in front of the carton so that the bike frame does not get scratched. Then put the bike in a standing position but do not put the bike on kickstand.
IMPORTANT: Please note until the front wheel is assembled, the bike is not stable in a standing position.
So please lean it against a wall or have someone hold the bike until the front wheel assembly step is done (when you will be able to put the bike on the kickstand).
CHAPTER 3: REMOVING PROTECTIVE MATERIAL
STEP 1
Remove all protective material from the bike.
IMPORTANT: Please take care so that the bike frame does not get scratched.
STEP 2
Remove plastic protectors from both sides of the front wheel.
STEP 3
Open the accessories box, which includes the charger, basic assembly tools, pedals, front light, front wheel quick-release skewer, and touch-up paint. After all protective materials are removed, your bike should look similar to to the photo below.
STEP 4
Now please remove the battery from the bike. To remove the battery, you need to unlock the battery using the battery key (which is usually tied to the handlebars) and at the same time turn the small plastic lever, which is underneath the battery. Please put the battery on charge by using the original charger that comes with the bike. The battery has to be charged for 12 hours before the first use.
CHAPTER 4: HANDLEBARS ASSEMBLY
IMPORTANT NOTE: Until the handlebars are assembled, the forks will be loose. Therefore do not lift the bike as the forks could come out of the bike's head tube. Once the handlebars assembly is done, the bike can be lifted.

CHAPTER 14: PUMPING THE TYRES
STEP 1
Pump front and rear tyres. Tyre pressure should be in the range specified on the tyre. Inflating the tyre to the correct pressure is essential for a comfortable ride. We generally recommend inflating the tyres to the middle of the range specified (45-50 PSI for this bike). Lower tyre pressure (35 psi - 40 psi) is for riding on soft terrains (such as sand) where you need more grip. If the tyres are inflated to the max range (70 PSI), the ride will become harsh; however, it will decrease the chance of getting a puncture and the bike can go faster and easier due to less tyre resistance. A properly inflated tyre (which usually means a tyre that has not been inflated to the max PSI), is as essential as the bike suspension in making the ride comfortable.
IMPORTANT: While pumping the tyres, stop a few times and ensure the tyre bead has been seated all the way properly around the rim. If the bead starts moving up anywhere, deflate a bit, squeeze and push the bead to get it even all around and continue inflating. If any part of the tube comes out of the rim during tyre inflation, it could lead to tube burst. In a properly seated tire, the bead line — the thin line moulded low on each sidewall — will be just above the rim all the way around on both sides.
