Long Range Electric Bikes

The Rover Gen 6 and Rover Pro, rated up to 125 km of maximum range with around 80 km a typical average. Add the Dual Battery Kit to go further again.

Maximum range is measured in ideal conditions on low assist. Hills, headwinds, stop-start traffic, rider and cargo weight, low tyre pressure and high assist levels all reduce it.

Around 7 to 10 hours for a full charge from a normal power point, depending on the model. The batteries are removable, so you can charge them inside.

Ride on a lower assist level, pedal steadily, keep your tyres pumped up and avoid carrying weight you do not need. Storing the battery partly charged in a cool place also helps it last.

Range does not affect legality. A compliant 250 W pedal-assist configuration with assistance cutting out at 25 km/h can be ridden on public roads, subject to your state's rules.

Yes, in light-to-moderate rain. DiroDi e-bikes are water-resistant, not waterproof, so avoid deep water, never hose the motor or battery, and dry the bike off after a wet ride.
